REVERSING DIABETES? HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?

Updated: Jan 2, 2021

A Nutritional Approach to Reversing Diabetes

Well, is that even possible?

Yes, the facts and scientific evidence are out there. But we have all been too busy to notice and have all been distracted and brain washed by aggressive marketing of the junk food industry. Added to that, the aggressive marketing of pharmaceuticals industry. I bet you have been told you will be on medication for the rest of your life.

What does the last 10 years of your life feel like?

Go somewhere quiet where nothing and no one can distract you. For at least 20 minutes, I would like you to imagine what your last 10 years of your life look like. What kind of feelings did you get? Are you the one getting a kidney dialysis regularly who is immobile and you also stink? One who feels like a burden to his or her spouse and children? Or are you the one who is still able to laugh out loud and run around and play with your grandchildren?

Doctors and nurses have said that the most devastating complication of diabetes is kidney failure. That it must be so agonising for diabetes patients to be on dialysis for 24 hours just sitting there smelling both your own blood and your pee.

The good news

It has been scientifically proven that Type 2 Diabetes is preventable and reversable with a wholefood plant-based diet. Watch the videos from the links below:

Which is more difficult? A 21-day transition to good food or the agonising last 10 years of your life?

I’m not going to apologise for being brutally honest, if after you learn from the links in this blog, you still don’t take action on your best alternative option, which is the wholefood plant-based diet, then you either chose to stay ignorant, lazy, too cowardly to even try or just given up to punish yourself.

I’m not suggesting that you ditch your doctor and your medications. Tell you doctor that you are changing your diet so that they can monitor your condition and hopefully eventually reduce the dosage of your medications and may even be medication free over time.

All kinds of change are difficult. But is a lot easier if you are open-minded. Smart people allow themselves about 21 days to get used to something new. That certainly applies to getting your taste buds and your tummy muscles to adjust to good food. Cases of people who managed to reverse or go on remission from their medical condition seem to be in wholefood plant-based diet for at least six months. They are fully aware that when they go back to their status quo diet, their symptoms then start to re-appear.

You can start by adding shredded apple to your breakfast, then later you can also change your milk to a plant-based milk. Then slowly introduce yourself to other fruits and vegetables (there are thousands of different varieties to choose from). So be adventurous. There is a paradigm shift going on in the food industry. Even KFC now has plant-based chicken. BUT be careful! Plant-based junk food doesn’t make it a green light. Stick with food made from wholefood plant-based.

Consistency is key.

This is a quote I learned from Jim Rohn of which I constantly remind myself of. I go for the former rather than the later. What about you? Again, it is YOU who makes the choice.
